Awning Manufacturing & Installation
AI Innovations employs a highly trained
staff using the latest technologies to produce a consistent grade of superior products. Work done in our fabrics department, electrical area, graphics section, and frame division is unsurpassed in the marketplace.
Quality Control
Production teams work under an incentive-based quality control mandate that minimizes errors and intercepts mistakes before they
leave our doors. Quality control isn't at the end of the line--it's up and down the line, integral to every
stage and every step.
Fabric Production
Our sewing department is well equipped with the latest technologies in fabric
production. AI can offer many different techniques and styles to
complete your job. Each job is cut and sewn to job specifications. Chose
from custom sewing or use newest method of heat seaming.
Frame Construction
AI Innovations uses 0.10" aluminum extrusion to form its awnings. More durable than the 0.0625" extrusion used by other awning
makers. Stronger. But light in weight and easy to
handle. All welds are ground to eliminate sharp edges that could tear the fabric. Chrome aluminum aerosol is used to coat the weld and
conceal any black carbon residue.
Optional Powder Coated Finish
The aluminum frames can be powder coated for color matching or coordination with
awning fabrics and existing building motif. This process
of electrostatically atomizing air with electronically charged paint powder provides
an amazingly smooth, rich finish with consistent
coverage. No runs, no drips, no errors. The
finish is hard, durable, and incredibly attractive.
Fabric-to-Frame Attachment
Awning Innovations utilizes a staple-in system for attaching the fabric to the frame. First, the awning fabric is stretched onto its frame. Then,
it is stapled into a staple-groove formed in the frame extrusion. Next, PVC trim is wedged into the staple groove-concealing the staples while creating a sharp, clean-line appearance.
The staple-in method causes the fabric to fit
tight on the frame, tighter than other methods.
It looks better and it stands up to weather
better. Winds can't buffet the fabric against the frame, so wear is prolonged and appearance sustained
