AI Innovations History
The principal founders of AI Innovations are Frank Green and Brett Hodges. Frank and Brett met many years ago and built a friendship that one day developed into a great partnership.
FRANK GREEN — President
Frank Green started in this industry years before he decided to open AI Innovations. Knowing he had more to offer the industry he decided he couldn't do it working for another company. After collaborating with long time friend Brett Hodges they decided to take the leap and start Awning Innovations in 1999. A few years in the awning industry they were seeking ways of providing more for their customers. It didn't take long to figure out that most of their customer were sign companies. Manufacturing channel letters was an obvious start to providing customers with what they need from a wholesaler. This is when AI Innovations was born. Since then, Frank continues to broaden the product line by introducing cabinets, decorated faces, post & panels and such cutting edge products as Slimbrite. You never know just what he will think of next, but whatever it is, it will continue to keep AI in front of the industry.

BRETT HODGES — Vice President
Considered our expert awning representative, Brett continues to keep all aspects of our awning line fresh. It is no wonder that Brett and Frank teamed up to start Awning Innovations in 1999. Originally from Florida Brett worked for an awning company in Indianapolis before opening up Awning Innovations with Frank in 1999. Since opening he has opened up a location in North Carolina manufacturing awnings to keep the shipping cost down for our eastern and southern customers. Brett continues to keep up with the newest products and methods for manufacturing awnings so our customer continue to get the best and cutting edge products. Warning to you, Brett has an honest way of turning customers into great customers.
